Appcodie develops insurance inspection applications that connect assignments, property observations, photographs and measurements with a controlled review process. The scope is agreed around your users and receiving systems; software documentation does not determine policy coverage or claim acceptance.
Start with the reviewer’s questions
An adjuster, field inspector and operations manager may need different views of the same property record. Define who can create an observation, request more evidence, change a measurement and approve an export. Role design should reflect the actual assignment rather than giving every user access to every claim.
A custom app for insurance adjusters can include a job inbox, inspection progress, room-linked evidence and a reviewer queue. If your product serves third-party inspection firms, agree how tenant and customer data are separated.
Keep the original evidence connected
Preserve the source photo and associate annotations with that original. Store capture details when available, distinguish capture time from upload time, and retain a history for meaningful edits. A reviewer should be able to see which record supports a statement in the final report.

Agree on the receiving system before building exports
Bring API documentation, sample payloads, required identifiers and a test environment where available. Integration scope should cover authentication, retries, attachment limits, duplicate delivery and clear failure messages. A PDF export and a structured submission to another platform are different deliverables.
We do not assume access to an insurer’s system or a proprietary estimating platform. Access, licensing and technical approval need to be established for the integration you request.
Insurance documentation and UAD appraisal reporting
Property damage documentation, repair estimates and real-estate appraisal reporting are distinct workflows. If your product also needs Uniform Appraisal Dataset reporting, scope that as a separate set of data, validation and delivery requirements.
Our UAD appraisal software development service and UAD 3.6 resource guide provide a starting point for that discussion. A damage inspection report should not be presented as a UAD-compliant submission simply because both concern a property.
A practical first release
Begin with one assignment type, one group of field users and one review output. Agree acceptance checks for required evidence, permissions and failed uploads. Expand to additional templates and integrations after the first workflow works for its intended users.

No. This service is custom software development for inspection and claims workflows. Professional assessments and claim decisions remain with the responsible parties.
Can you integrate with our claims platform?
We can assess an integration when you provide the platform documentation, authorized access and the desired workflow. Availability and scope depend on that platform.
Is UAD 3.6 included in every inspection app?
No. UAD appraisal reporting is a separate requirement that must be explicitly scoped. A property damage inspection app does not automatically implement UAD reporting.
